Li Bien Reverse Painted Glass Angel Ornament, Purple Velvet Box

A hand blown glass teardrop ornament with an angel reverse-painted inside using the 200 year old Li Bien technique, meaning the artist paints backward through a small opening so the finished image reads correctly from the front, a real skill and a real story to put in a listing. Comes with its purple velvet box and the printed card explaining the Chinese Li Bien legend, exactly the kind of documentation that makes a $12 ornament sell like a $28 one. Condition: Glass intact, no chips found in photos, gold cap and hanger secure. Comes with original fabric-lined purple box and the printed Li Bien history card. Sourced from a Northern California estate by The Wander House, twenty years in the estate sale field. Condition disclosed honestly and photographed thoroughly; what you see is what arrives. Wrapped carefully and double boxed where the object demands it. Questions and extra photos always welcome.
