I purchased this kimono secondhand, drawn to the vibrant yellow color and the sense of power it exuded. However, I never had the opportunity to wear it.
The color is a bit brighter than it appears in the photos.
Hand-sewn, with basting stitches still attached.
It has been stored carefully and is in beautiful condition with no odors.
The green pattern on this Tsumugi kimono appears to have threads added separately. Please refer to the later photos.
While this kimono is typically suited for awase (lined) style, considering the recent warming trend, I thought a hitoe (unlined) style would be more practical.
I am not a dealer; I own a large collection of kimonos and purchased this for my personal use.
Please note that there may be slight variations in measurements.
Shipping will be via Yamato Transport, but may be changed to Yu-Pack depending on circumstances.
I will take care to prevent wrinkles during shipping, but it will be sent folded compactly.
