VTG Magid Black Beaded Seashell Clutch Art Deco Gothic Glam Kisslock

Vintage Magid black beaded evening clutch in a sculptural seashell silhouette. Magid has been known for beaded evening bags since the 1940s - 1970s, and this piece reflects that heritage with dense hand-applied beadwork and a structured formal shape.  Black seed beads and elongated bugle beads form a dramatic radiating sunburst pattern across the shell silhouette, framed by a gold-tone kisslock closure. The snake chain strap tucks inside, allowing it to be carried as a clutch or worn as a short shoulder bag.  This piece leans dark feminine, old Hollywood, and art deco revival all at once. The all-black beading gives it that “mob wife” glam energy while the structured shell shape keeps it elegant and editorial.  Measures 6 x 6. Strap length 18 with a 9 drop. Weight 9.1 oz.  Condition: Beading is structurally secure with no bead loss under handling. Two missing beads in one small area and one loop slightly loose but secure. See photos.
