Lacquerware Chopstick Box with Divider - Beautiful Condition! Wooden Product, Made in Japan! Greatly Reduced Price!

This item was acquired from an individual and has been stored at their family home, reportedly with very little use. As the original box is missing, the place of origin cannot be confirmed, but it is believed to be Wajima or Aizu lacquerware. It features a retro pattern and includes an inner divider. This is a beautiful chopstick case in vermilion red and jet black. The dimensions are 26cm in length, 5.5cm in width, and 3cm in height. The shape is like a kamaboko (fish cake), with a slightly rounded, raised profile. It is in excellent condition with no peeling, scuffing, or chipping of the lacquer. There are a few spots where the lacquer is raised in a dot-like pattern. While not a high-end, one-of-a-kind piece by a renowned artist, it can be used as a small item container or accessory case in addition to holding chopsticks. Wiping with a softer cloth may enhance its luster. There is one spot with a different color, resembling a stain, which has been photographed. As this is a used item, purchase is not recommended for those concerned about minor details. It would be helpful if you could purchase after commenting so that we can confirm stock availability. If paying at a convenience store, please do so within the deadline. No further price reductions are possible, and this is the last available item. It is not made of wood or Chinese lacquer. Not dishwasher safe. Please wash briefly with lukewarm water, dry thoroughly, and then store. The gold accents are also intact and still beautiful. Given its size, it may have been sold as a souvenir at a lacquerware specialty store rather than for everyday use. Reduced from 3666 yen to 2666 yen, this is a final clearance, buy-it-now price. No further price reductions will be considered.
