Description
This specimen is perfect to just admire, study, use as natural decor as well as in your landscape or pet cages. Large raw natural sandstone rock with chert flint and quartz deposits. Orange on sandstone is from the vast amount of iron in the soil in this area. I picked this rock myself in my private and off grid property in the mountains of Tennessee. ** It takes about 30 minutes from a blacktop road just to get to our property. Then we travel another 10 minutes to the creek and walk the area looking for beautiful specimens. We do try to pick rocks that will least disturb the natural environment especially the numerous rattlesnakes. Please see photos for approximate measurements. Weight is approximately 5lbs Feel free to ask questions about this piece. #naturallimestone#naturalcreekbed#offgrid #nature#rockhounding#geology#classroomtools#mountainrock#tennessee
