【Legacy of Tradition】Second Generation Nishito Tetsusaburo Work
Hakata Doll Spring Celebration

This is an authentic work by the second generation Nishito Tetsusaburo (real name: Goro), the eldest son of the first generation Nishito Tetsusaburo, who was a designated Living National Treasure of Fukuoka Prefecture, and who has legitimately inherited his outstanding skills.

The inscription Goro on the wooden tag is proof that the second generation has taken responsibility for each piece he creates.
This masterpiece shines with the delicate craftsmanship unique to the second generation, who learned and sublimated the artistic quality of Hakata dolls built by the first generation from the closest possible proximity.

At approximately 40cm tall, it is a large piece, with a dignified and elegant facial expression and a noble representation of the soft texture of the kimono.
While preserving the traditional robustness of the first generation, it adds the refined beauty characteristic of the second generation, making it a perfect fit for modern interiors.
