Description
Striking circa 1940s–1950s convertible brooch pendant featuring an elaborate openwork fan and sunburst design set with an array of clear vintage rhinestones/crystals. Baguette, round and triangular stones create incredible dimension, with radiating silver-tone bars and a curved row of prong-set stones along the base. The reverse is marked 1/20 12K G.F., indicating 12K gold-filled construction. The bright white-metal finish is characteristic of white gold-filled jewelry from the period. Designed to be worn two ways as either a brooch or pendant. Shown and offered on an approx. 16” silver-tone chain finished with a spring-ring clasp. Brooch/pendant measures approx. 2”. Beautiful vintage condition with age-appropriate patina and wear. Stones have not been professionally tested and are described as rhinestones/crystals.
