Vintage Cork Duck Decoy Large 16 Redhead Diver Broadbill NJ/NY Coastal Working Old Rig  Vintage cork duck decoy in very good pre-owned condition.  Large example measuring approximately 16 long. Classic working decoy featuring a cork body with wooden head construction. Retains original keel and rigging line as shown.  Form and paint pattern are consistent with a redhead / diver (broadbill) style decoy commonly used in gunning rigs.   Likely originating from a Northeast coastal region (New Jersey / New York area), where cork decoys were widely used for large diver spreads due to their lightweight and practical design. According to my research it matches Barnegat / Jersey shore gunning style most closely  Excellent authentic hunting-era patina throughout. Paint shows natural wear from use, adding character and confirming working decoy history. No major structural damage. Solid body with no significant cracking. Presents beautifully for display.  Mid-century vintage (approx. 1940s–1960s) working decoy — not a modern reproduction.
