ONKYO AV Center SA-205HD - Repaired for muffled/no sound issues - 2207

The Onkyo compact and lightweight AV center SA-205HD has relays (relays) in series with each of the three speaker (SP) circuits: Front L/R, Center, and Surround L/R. Over time, contact failure in these relays can cause muffled sound or other issues, making normal viewing difficult. Therefore, we have devised an electrical countermeasures method to bypass these relay contacts using LED indicators and toggle switches.
For this listing, we have confirmed that the Line1-3, Optical-1, -2, and HDMI1-1, -2 inputs and the Speaker (Front L/R, Center, Surround L/R, Subwoofer), and TV outputs are functioning correctly, and that the fan is operating.

1. How to Use
- Three LEDs and switches corresponding to the three relays are provided on the right side of the main unit (see photos). When shipped, the switch levers will be in the downward position, and the electrical countermeasures method will not be active.
- When you turn on the power to the main unit, the LED corresponding to the listening mode will illuminate.
- By moving the switch lever below the illuminated LED from the lower position to the upper position, the electrical countermeasures method will be activated, and normal sound will be produced.
- For everyday viewing, there is no need to touch the three switches.

2. The product includes the SA-205HD main unit (with minor dirt and scratches on the top cover, see photos) and a self-made attached document titled (Overview of Measures for Muffled/No Sound). Please prepare the Remote Control (RC-678S) and Instruction Manual separately.

3. Other
- Returns will be handled in accordance with the Mercari guide Product Return Procedure. Our approach is outlined below.
- Please initiate the product return procedure only after we have reached an agreement through discussion (the seal on the product's top cover must not be broken, and you must contact us via email or phone regarding the return within 7 days of product arrival). Please note that the shipping costs for the return will be borne by the buyer (the return address is listed in the self-made attached document). We will confirm that the product seal has not been broken and then apply for cancellation with Mercari. The product price will be refunded to the buyer according to the payment method after the transaction is canceled.
