M6 LEICA Engraved ERNST WETZLAR GMBH Leica

LEICA M6 Leica
Black Chrome
This is a model with the engraving ERNST LEITZ WETZLAR GMBH on the top, making it rarer than the standard model without the engraving!
Recommended for those who want to use the M6 as a workhorse camera.

[Product Information]
This model evolved from the Leica M4-P by incorporating a TTL exposure meter and using an SPD to measure light reflected from the shutter curtain.
Exposure adjustment can be made by referring to the two triangular LEDs displayed in the viewfinder.
The viewfinder magnification is 0.72x, making it versatile.
As it has a mechanical shutter, it can be used without batteries, except for the exposure meter, which is reassuring.
The fusion of classic and pop is superb, and the design is loved by all.

The M6 in this listing is a rare model manufactured only for two years, from 1984 to 1986.
The engraving ERNST LEITZ WETZLAR GMBH is the former name of Ernst Leitz, which manufactured Leica. The company name was changed to Leica GmbH in 1986, so the ERNST LEITZ WETZLAR GMBH engraving disappeared from models manufactured after 1987. This listing features the rare engraving.
