Reptile UVB100 UVB Light Reptile Basking Light for Reptiles

GEX Reptile UVB Light 100

Purchased on 3/20. This is a duplicate purchase made by mistake.

Light has been tested and confirmed to be working. UV output is as expected.
It is recommended to replace the bulb approximately once a year, as UV output decreases with use.

??I previously purchased an inexpensive, unbranded UV light from Amazon and later measured its UV output, only to find it was completely absent.
It's best to use products from reliable manufacturers for these items...

??To offset shipping costs, I will include two spare basking light bulbs.
One is 120v 50w, and the other is 120v 75w.
Both have E26 bases.
Please set them up considering the distance and temperature. These are unused items from my compact setup. The outer box has some damage.

From the manufacturer's website:

This lamp emits the optimal UVB for reptiles living in tropical and subtropical regions.

Reptiles require UV irradiation. Many reptiles live under sunlight in their natural habitat.
Sunlight contains ultraviolet rays (UV), and by basking in UV, they can maintain their metabolism and sustain life activities.

It is necessary to supplement the UV that tends to be insufficient in captivity with an artificial lamp.

We recommend using this in conjunction with a Natural Light to replicate natural brightness within the enclosure.

For guaranteed irradiation effect, please replace the bulb approximately once a year.

Examples of reptiles that can be kept: Day geckos, Green iguanas, Panther chameleons, Water dragons, Fire skinks, Star tortoises, Red-footed tortoises, all types of aquatic turtles, etc.
