Set of Mullca 300 and Mullca 321, 1950s, Made in France
Designed in 1949 by Jacques Iité in France, the Mullca 300 Chair is a children's chair that combines bent tubular steel with plywood.
The Mullca 321 Desk was designed to complement the Mullca 300 Chair and features a simple and charming design.
The size is suitable for small children aged approximately 2 to 6 years old, and it's sturdy enough for them to use while looking at picture books, drawing, or doing crafts, and can withstand rough handling.
Both the chair and desk had some wobbling, so old screws were removed and replaced with new ones.
For the desk, epoxy resin was applied to the screw holes, sanded, and then a pilot hole was drilled before inserting the new screws (please refer to photos 12-13).
Nylon washers were added above and below the screws on both the desk and chair to improve the fit.
The seat of the chair has two areas where the plywood has peeled. The green paint on the steel legs is chipped in places.
The inside of the drawer has been cleaned, but there are pencil marks from when it was originally purchased (photo 10).
The last photo is a borrowed advertisement from the era.

This set would pair well with Dutch industrial design furniture by Wim Rietveld, Friso Kramer, and Cees Braakman, German Bauhaus furniture, Kaiser Idell lighting, and furniture from Truck Furniture in Osaka.
Its compact size makes it unobtrusive, and children can carry it with one hand, allowing for flexible use such as bringing it to where a mother is doing chores and letting the child play within sight.
While repairs have been made to ensure continued use, this is a French antique from approximately 70 years ago, so please understand that it is sold as-is (no returns, no complaints).
We are also listing other items for young children, including a toy piano made by JAYMAR in the USA from the 1970s, and a pull-along toy designed by Antonio Vitali for Creative Playthings in Switzerland.
