Description
Thank you for looking.
This is a listing for an antique Japanese axe head only.
One side features a traditional deep engraving of three lines, and the other side has four lines (please see images).
These represent three for sake and four for good fortune, an auspicious traditional Japanese design praying for safety in the mountains and a bountiful harvest.
It has a substantial weight and is highly recommended not only for practical use in splitting firewood, bushcraft, and camping, but also as a collectible or custom base for antique tools.
