*These rye seeds were obtained from someone who has been naturally cultivating Noguchi Seed Company's rye seeds for many years. I have grown them myself through natural cultivation, resulting in these precious seeds with depleted nutrients.

This is a versatile plant that can be used in various ways, such as a windbreak when growing legumes in winter, pest control for aphids, prevention of powdery mildew, green manure, and mulch. Recommended for making supports for seedlings, straws, and Himmeli, thanks to its natural cultivation without pesticides! It also improves soil by drawing out nutrients. Planter cultivation is possible; rye has deep roots, so a deeper planter is recommended.

Even though these naturally cultivated rye seeds grew vigorously with two tillings in a planter, they are seeds grown by an amateur as a hobby, so please understand this before purchasing. m(_ _)m

[Sowing Period]
Autumn: September-November. Spring: March-May.
For autumn sowing, sow after it cools down, as germination is difficult in hot weather.
For spring sowing, panicles may not form well depending on the environment.
[Optimal Germination Temperature]
10-15°C
[Cultivation Method]
Strong cold and disease resistance. Suitable for poor soil. The culm length is 1.3-1.8m; too much fertilizer can cause lodging. To promote root development and prevent frost heave damage, till once before the end of the year and once by February after the new year.
