★ Germination Method
Encourage spontaneous germination by soaking for a long period.
We personally do not recommend the random scarification method.
Hot water treatment is at your own discretion.

1. Gently wash the seeds with their shells in water.
2. Soak the seeds in a lidded container (500ml or 1L) filled with water.
   * Sometimes over 1-2 weeks
   * It's best to close the lid tightly.
   * A very unpleasant odor may occur during this period.
3. We recommend changing the water every day/half day.
   - The generated odor will not disappear.
   - Mold removers or body soaps are also ineffective.
4. Seeds germinate from the side with the two bumps.
   - The timing to give up is currently unknown.
   - There is a possibility of germination with prolonged attempts.
5. Once the roots start to appear and grow a little, remove the seeds from the water.
6. Fill a 100-yen shop 650ml clear plastic cup about 2/3 full with sterilized soil.
   - Make at least one hole in the bottom of the cup.
7. Place the germinated part so it touches the soil.
8. Spray water from above or pour water.
9. If the cup has a lid, close it. If not, cover with tissue paper and secure with a rubber band.
10. Check the root area daily to ensure it is not rotting.
11. Water with a spray or pour water once a day.
