This is so cute. Vintage Armbee Ceramics bear-and-beehive honey pot. Brown ceramic bear hugging a woven beehive with little bees crawling on it, the bear's happy face peeking over the top of the beehive lid. Rich glossy chestnut brown glaze. Made in Japan.  Armbee Ceramics was the American import distributor that brought loads of Japanese figural ceramics to the US market from the 1950s through 60s, when Japan's postwar export economy was built on kitchen novelties, salt-and-pepper sets, and figural jars. The bear-with-beehive was one of Armbee's steady sellers.
