Vintage Fostoria American Clear (pattern 2056) crystal top hat 2 1/2 Topper (#714). In very good vintage condition. Made in the USA, exact date of production unknown. Fostoria produced their popular American Clear crystal from 1915-1982, and these Toppers were produced from 1939-58. Toppers were originally marketed as cigarette and match holders, as the perfect host would provide ashtrays, cigarettes, and matches for their guests. This smaller topper would be the size to hold matches. Dimensions: 3 3/4 x 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch
