Victory no longer exists, and there are no records, so it is unclear what kind of item this is.
Based on the materials, it is believed to have been made during the Taisho era when violins were heavily exported. It is likely from the period when Germany stopped producing violins during World War I (1914-1918), leading to an increase in exports. A characteristic feature is the omission of the purfling carving process, with it being drawn instead.
Expensive materials were used, and the manufacturing method is refined, suggesting a sound quality comparable to violins in the 500,000 yen range. It is a Guarnerius copy, allowing for a wide range of expression.
