Enku Buddha Kannon Bodhisattva Seated Statue Height 13.8cm

Kannon Bodhisattva Seated Statue - One Piece

This is a Kannon statue, one of many approximately 10cm tall figures that Enku carved in various regions such as Owari, Mino, Hida, and Etchu. The face is simplified, and while there are slight variations in size, some figures are meticulously carved while others are rougher.
They are mainly found in small temples and private collections, with some temples enshrining them as Buddhas. Dimensions: Height 13.8cm, Width 6.5cm, Depth 3.8cm.

Kannon Bodhisattva / Buddha Head - This is an original Enku-style Kannon with a unique upward-sweeping hairstyle. You can see the difference in the face compared to the simplified type. The size is almost the same as the Kannon statue shown in the photo. It is magnetic and can be attached to the side.

Material: Cypress wood, finished with antique coloring, persimmon tannin, and wax.
