Description
This is a black shichirin (charcoal grill). Unlike typical shichirin, this one features a double-layer structure with Mikawa clay on the outside and Noto diatomaceous earth on the inside.
The far-infrared effect from the diatomaceous earth and charcoal allows for delicious cooking of ingredients.
Its high insulation and heat retention properties enable long-term use with a small amount of charcoal.
Many are handmade by Japanese artisans, making them exquisite items filled with traditional techniques.
The small window area, where the opening and closing mechanism is located, had cracks and has been repaired with adhesive.
